Central Platte River, Nebraska, Drought Update June 6, 2006

 The Central Nebraska Platte River near Grand Island ran dry during
the summer of 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 and is going dry again in 2006.

The flow has just about stopped on the Platte River at this location.
