In the hallway, John Zapotocny and his two children greet the guests arriving for the Friday evening dinner.
Prior to the banquet, UNL meteorology students help fold the programs for the CPSWS 2002 event scheduled the next morning.
This was the second time the two AMS chapters met in Lincoln.
The first joint meeting was at the last CPSWS in October 2000.
There were 54 individuals present for the evening
All of the CPSWS keynote speakers were also present 
at the Friday evening dinner.
David Stillings, "The Lightning Stalker" gave a 
presentation on his career of photographing lightning.
The audience generally agreed that this was the most spectacular compilation of lightning photos that they had ever seen.
